This is our favorite song of the week… Uber-catchy beats + slick bass + gorgeous vocals = K-Pop Heaven. It’s such an uplifting and inspired tune. Interesting video, too. The song is about the girls telling the guys to be confident and make a move, to believe in themselves and pursue the girls, but in the video one of the girls is giving a guy anesthesia and you see them with candles and stuff like that, which kind of makes you think she’s giving him anesthesia so she can have sex with him and do weird stuff to him. There are nods to various festishes in the video, if you look closely. For example, in addition to the candles there’s a stuffed animal. And there’s a Rubik’s Cube, which points to sex games. Plus, there’s the whole hospital room, playing doctor thing. It’s just funny that the song is telling the guy to make a move yet he’s not going to be able to make a move if he’s put to sleep with anesthesia. Weird, but it’s a great video and an even better song nevertheless!
