“Surrender” is the debut single by pop/R&B singer/songwriter/producer Ryan Morgan, which he’ll be releasing on his own label, Bluprint Records, in March. Musically, speaking in terms of the bass and the driving beat, the song is like a ’90’s-flavored, highly sped up take on Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.” Vocally, Ryan is like a cross between Michael Jackson and The Weeknd. He does Jackson’s trademark high-pitched thing perfectly while bringing the soul and passion of The Weeknd to his retro sound.
