“Song for Mary Lou” was written and recorded by Dan, Stew and Matt on one rainy Brisbane summer’s afternoon. It tells the story of a love drunk cowboy who lays down his life to save his sweetheart Mary Lou.

The video clip is a tribute to “Public Cowboy No. 1”, a 1937 Joseph Kane Western.
