#songoftheday / VIDEO: Pharrell Williams Feat. Daft Punk – “Gust of Wind”

This is no “Get Lucky,” so you should probably lower your expectations before listening to this one.  That being said, “Gust of Wind” is still a terrific track in its own right.  He has that lovely throwback groove Daft Punk sported on Random Access Memories.  It even sounds like it could have been on Random Access Memories and not just because Pharrell evidently uses the same sort of vocoder the Daft Punk duo use to disguise their voices.  The bass guitar, the percussion, it has Random Access Memories written all over it.  And the Daft Punk dudes even appear in the video.  Well, sort of.  Check it out above!
