OBESØN (pronounced Obey-Son) is a project of Canadian producer Meshach Gordon. “I Need You To Need Me” actually samples Lykke Li’s “I Need You To Need Me,” but he tweaks it, raising the pitch considerably, though it still sounds quite beautiful, something that could be said for the track overall. It starts off kind of mellow but eventually some punchy beats that pack a lot of bass drop and it would be ripe for the clubs if the tempo were faster. Instead, we recommend playing it when you’re chilling out post club.
