Well, well, well, hasn’t somebody changed direction? Instead of super catchy pop, this time around Erik Hassle delivers a dark, somewhat minimalist R&B tune that has more in common with The Weeknd and James Blake than anything he’s done previously. It’s not bad though. Takes a few listens to really grow on you — especially the rap part by Vic Mensa, which seems to come out of left field — but it does sink its claws into you eventually…
