Produced by Gifted & Blessed, the latest tune by L.A.-based singer/songwriter Kelela is the stuff trip-hop fans dream of. It’s like early Tricky featuring Martina Topley Bird with slick, bass-heavy beats and other downtempo and trippy elements, all of which mesh perfectly with Kelela’s half-steamy, half-icy vocals. Here’s hoping she does more fine trip-hop tracks with Gifted & Blessed. We’d love a whole album of this stuff.
