#songoftheday / VIDEO: The Maine – “English Girls”

When it comes to rock bands who deliver hooks as sweet as sugar-coated pop, it doesn’t get better than The Maine.  Time after time, they deliver memorable rock ‘n’ roll songs that get under your skin and tickle you in a most pleasant manner.  The only way to get one of their songs out of your head is to listen to one of their other songs.  And now we have a brand new, ridiculously catchy tune from them in the form of “English Girls,” a sexed up, good time romp through an English bar (and, I assume, back to someone’s flat or hotel room).   It’s like OK GO meets Poison… and that’s not a bad thing at all.  Not in my eclectic book anyway.
