#songoftheday / VIDEO: SPECTOR: “ALL THE SAD YOUNG MEN”

Hailing from the UK, Spector delivers a solid as a diamond slice of post new wave rock with “All The Sad Young Men,” which reminds me of listening to bands like Depeche Mode and Roxy Music when I was young and didn’t know better.

Relax, I’m kidding.  I still like Depeche Mode and Roxy Music.  And I like Spector in part because I can hear shades of both within the lovely sonic textures of this song.  And if the rest of Spector’s forthcoming album is going to be as wonderful as this one, well, it’ll be an instant classic for sure.
