#songoftheday / VIDEO: Noblesse Oblige: “Voices In My Head”

Noblesse Oblige’s “Voices In My Head” is the final song on their stellar 2013 album Affair of the Heart and it’s an uber-moody,  downtempo track that just might have you hearing voices in your own head.  The Mylène Farmer meets Massive Attack tune has been one of our favorite Noblesse Oblige songs since we first heard the album and we’re quite happy that it now has a video.  And we’re thrilled that it was directed by IAMX’s dark maestro Chris Corner, who previously directed the duo’s haunting video for the song “Runaway.”  Although the concept and visuals here may be somewhat simple, the fact of the matter is that Corner has managed to take the gloomy, mysterious tune and make it all the more ominous.  Certainly not a video you want to watch just before going to bed at night.  Especially not if you’re alone.
