“Don’t give it up, it’s glorious,” Foxes sings during the chorus of the gorgeous and inspiring title track from her album Glorious, which could also be described as, well, glorious.  (Sorry, but it had to be said.)  To our ears, everything Foxes does is perfect.  The woman is incapable of writing a bad song; it’s just a fact.  At least thus far in her career.  There have been a lot of mediocre pop albums released this year, but Glorious is not one of them.  Even if this song was the only good song on the album, it’d be worth your attention.  Fortunately, there’s not a bad song in the bunch.  And “Glorious” is one of the best, a delicious mid-tempo treat about carrying on, not surrendering, choosing life over suicide, or however you want to interpret it.  Watch the sexed up video here now.
