The Pretty Reckless take a detour with this one and it leads them to a very different place.  Although the sound is still hard rock, it’s not in the metal vein like most of their songs.  It’s kind of soulful, a little bluesy and has a distinct classic rock vibe to it.  If you just wanted more of the same from them then you might be slightly disappointed with this one, but if you’ve been hoping they’d branch out and experiment then you’re going to love it.  I especially love the soulful chorus, on which a couple of powerful singers join forces with Taylor Momsen, adding yet another new dynamic to the band’s bag of tricks.
