#songoftheday THE PIERCES: “BELIEVE IN ME”

The Pierces are probably best known for their song “Secret,” which is the theme song for the show Pretty Little Liars.  Mind you, they wrote the song a couple of years before the show’s producers discovered it and realized it would be the perfect theme song for the show, which they were obviously right about.  My point is that The Pierces are much more than just “Secret.”  They’ve put out a handful of albums already and there truly isn’t a bad one in the bunch and they’re the best sister duo this side of Paola & Chiara and Tegan & Sara.  “Believe in Me” is from their upcoming new album, Creation, which you can pre-order now via the links below.

“Believe in Me” finds The Pierces dropping some heavy and delicious beats while they deliver some of their most soulful vocals ever.  Meanwhile, the inspired song has a distinct folk pop vibe.  “Hey, believe in me / Need some company / Electricity,” goes the lead vocal during the warm and inviting chorus.  One listen and you’ll want to sing along already.
