First Aid Kit are gearing up to release their third album, Stay Gold, on June 10th via Columbia Records. “Cedar Lane” is the first single and it’s one of their most gorgeous, glorious tunes to date. “This heavy heart of mine / It never fails / To bring you right back,” they sing, the lyrics beaming with the best sort of nostalgia while the sweet music warms the heart. And speaking of nostalgia, “Cedar Lane” might make you nostalgic for their first two albums, being very much in the same vein. But, hey, when their music is this precious, more of the same is never a bad thing. Not at all. Listen to this one and you’ll surely agree.
