On his last couple of albums, Lenny Kravitz was all about peace and love and understanding.  He all but sang about flower power.  While his new tune, “Sex,” isn’t very far removed from that, it does find Kravitz’s fancy fretwork in a much more raw mode than on those records.  In fact, this just might be his least polished single ever.  In any case, it’s about time he gets his hands dirty and dishes out some gritty guitars and he does all that and manages to stay groovy, too, so it’s a major threat all around and a tasty treat at that.
