#songoftheday = Ilse De Lange: “Carry Hope” (#songsforourtimes #17)

“When I can’t see tomorrow / I carry hope,” sings Ilse De Lange on her beautiful 2006 ballad “Carry Hope” from her album The Great Escape. If you’re listening above, you don’t need me to tell you what a beautiful, dreamy and inspiring song it is, but I guess I’ve just said so anyway? 😉 Seriously, though, I really need songs like this right now and I have a feeling I’m not alone.

If you’re enjoying these #songsofourtimes posts, please comment here or contact me elsewhere and let me know and I’ll keep posting them. I just wasn’t sure there was much interest in them and I was starting to feel a little burned out from posting them every day for a couple of weeks in a row so that’s why I didn’t post one the last few days. But I’ll do my best to get one up every day if people were finding some solace or enjoyment in them.
