#songoftheday = Hardline: “Take You Home”

“Take You Home” is the new single from Hardline’s forthcoming album Human Nature, which drops on October 14th via Frontiers, and boy is it a beauty.  One of those primo piano ballads that tugs at your heartstrings the second you start listening to it and doesn’t let you go for at least an hour after it’s finished, though even then it’s quite likely to linger on your mind for days.  I listened to it yesterday and it certainly played in my mind right up until I listened to it again today.  The combination of Joey Geoeli’s slightly raspy but tender vocals and Alessandro Del Vecchio’s sweet piano notes will have you crying if your love is away, that’s for sure.  The goal Hardline set for the new album was to make it heavier than ever, but this song is obviously the antithesis of that. This one below, however, is right on the money…
