#songoftheday = Bryan Ferry – “Avonmore” (Prins Thomas Remix)

I am in love with this remix of the legendary Bryan Ferry’s “Avonmore” by Prins Thomas.  It’s taken from a limited edition vinyl release by, who else, The Vinyl Factory, which is fast becoming one of our favorite labels.  The remix is a psychedelic dance track, so, naturally, it has a trippy, psychedelic video.  The opening part before the vocals kick in might not be especially fetching, but once Bryan starts singing it’s spectacular from that point on.  And the video features cameos by Jerry Hall, the late Anna Nicole Smith and Cara Delevigne!
