To hold fans over between albums, Betty Who has just released a cover of the Donna Lewis classic “I Love You Always Forever,” emailing fans about it this morning; her message is below. To be perfectly honest, I’ve never cared for this song. I didn’t like it from the first time I heard it and it sure grated on my nerves by the time radio stations stopped playing it in heavy rotation. That said, I do find myself enjoying this version by Betty Who. Am I totally in love with it? No. But I know it’s fantastic. I can appreciate the slick production and Betty’s warm vocals. I also know that it’s actually a great song. It just doesn’t do it for me for some reason or another. So, it’s today’s #songoftheday because I know it deserves to be and I am digging it somewhat. Hopefully you’ll like it much more than I do. Cheers and have a great weekend!
