RED HOT VIDEO/SINGLE : Melanie Martinez – “Carousel”

“Carousel” is the second song on Melanie Martinez’s Dollhouse EP and it’s a delicious electro-pop treat with fantastic lyrics that make good use of the song’s setting, an amusement park.  It might take a couple of listens to get stuck in your head, but it’s well worth your time and attention, one of the best art pop songs we’ve heard all year.  Melanie might have gotten her start singing other people’s songs on The Voice, but she’s proved to be as good a song writer as anyone who’s work she performed there.
