FKA twigs unveiled a seductive new song on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 radio show this week. It’s called “Figure 8” — not to be confused with Ellie Goulding’s song with the same title — and it’s arguably the trippiest thing she’s done yet, which is pretty darn trippy considering that her debut album was a trip-hop/dark R&B masterpiece… That said, we don’t think anyone would call “Figure 8” R&B. This time, she’s gone for full-on Massive Attack-style trip-hop and it’s incredible. The song, which was recorded late last year, will be on an upcoming, still to be titled EP, which will most likely be the best EP released this year…
