I’ve been a fan of Emmy The Great for a long time and have been itching for her to release new music lately so imagine how excited I was when I received an e-mail about this track today. And, I must say, it’s probably my favorite track she’s ever done already. I literally can’t stop listening to it. I’m hearing it for the fifth time as I write this. It’s got such a rich, luxurious sound; it goes down smoothly and sweetly like honey. It’s also a little on the trippy side, which my inner trip-hop fan can’t help but be happy about.
Emmy will be releasing a 4 track EP called S on Bella Union on January 27th.
