#songoftheday = SLUMBERJACK: OPEN FIRE (FEAT. DANIEL JOHNS)

Like many Silverchair fans, I still haven’t gotten used to the fact that frontman Daniel Johns put out an R&B/neo-soul album (last year’s Talk).  That said, he lends his vocals to Slumberjack’s latest, “Open Fire,” and it’s a contagious ball of wonderful, which also happens to be in the R&B/neo-soul vein, albeit with some dubstep flourishes thrown in for good measure.  Perfect for nighttime listening.
