June 26 th, 2015 – Burbank, CA – Twin Shadow, aka George Lewis Jr., has announced new tour dates for the Night Rally Tour. This past April, the band was forced to go on hiatus after being involved in a bus accident. The tour will kick off on August 21 st in Portland, OR, and crisscross the U.S. and Canada through mid-October. Twin Shadow is touring in support of his most recent album Eclipse, which has been earning outstanding praise from press. NPR said, “‘When The Lights Turn Out’ goes even bigger, via a sound abounding with peals of U2-style guitar, strings that seem lifted from The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony,’ and drums that sound as if they’ve been pummeled by Thor from the cataclysmic rock band Swans.” Rolling Stone said, “Eclipse is an album that’s self-assured and unrestrained,” and Entertainment Weekly writes, “Lewis’ seductive voice provides irresistible tether.”
One of the tracks on Eclipse, “To The Top,” will be featured on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the upcoming film Paper Towns, which will be released on July 10th. The soundtrack is available for pre-order via the iTunes Store here:
