Once upon a time there was an e-zine (e-mail newsletter) called Detritus.  It was for fans of heavy metal and hard rock and it was awesome.  In addition to writing some interesting news items and great reviews, they did the occasional in-depth interview and they compiled all of the heavy metal related press releases of the week and printed those unedited.   Trust me, if you were a heavy metal lover, you looked forward to Detritus arriving in your in-box every week.  But, eventually, Detritus vanished… I believe it was because the people who worked on it were busy with jobs and life in general.  But now, without warning,  it’s back. “Back for the attack,” as Dokken would say. And it’s like a miracle.  Owner Tim Wadzinski simply stated: “This is not a mirage. Just like The Who, We may be back for a little while!” Let’s hope a little while means permanently!
