May 24, 2015 – Boston, MA – With another successful May festival in the books, Boston Calling wastes no time in announcing its September 2015 lineup, which will take place September 25, 26 and 27, 2015, at the city’s historic City Hall Plaza [One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts]. The September 2015 festival will be headlined by The Avett Brothers, the acclaimed folk, roots and bluegrass rock band led by banjo and guitar wielding brothers, English indie rock sensation, alt-J, and southern rockers Alabama Shakes, which recently released their chart-topping album, Sound & Color. Irish superstar Hozier will bring his global hit “Take Me to Church” to City Hall Plaza this September and Icelandic fan favorites Of Monsters and Men will be a welcome return.  Pre-Sale tickets will go on sale Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 10AM EST.  Boston Calling’s General Onsale will begin Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 10AM EST.  Tickets will be available for purchase at www.bostoncalling.com.  Celebrating the announcement of September’s lineup announcement is a just released video, available here.

Produced by Crash Line Productions, Boston Calling will deliver another 23 live performances this September. As always, the lineup was co-curated by Aaron Dessner, the acclaimed songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of The National.

True to form, Boston Calling exceeds expectations with a stacked and diverse lineup: Chvrches, Ben Howard, Chromeo, Walk the Moon, Nate Ruess, who performed with his band fun. at the inaugural Boston Calling in May 2013, and Father John Misty will join headliners. Shining a spotlight on some of the greatest local bands, Dirty Bangs and Grey Season are also on the September bill.

Of this September’s festival, Boston Calling co-founder Brian Appel says, “With this talented and diverse lineup and our new, later dates, September might be our most exciting festival yet.”

Ticket Information: Presale for three-day General Admission and VIP passes will begin May 26, 2015 at 10AM EST.  General Admission 3-Day passes are $160 and VIP 3-Day passes are $300, a limited number of tickets are available at this price. Crash Line Productions is a Boston-based entertainment production company that owns and produces dozens of events each year.  Formed in 2012 by Brian Appel and Mike Snow, Crash Line Productions continues to build its event platform around the semi-annual Boston Calling Music Festival and the new Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival, taking place July 17 & 18, 2015 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

City Hall Plaza is located at One City Hall Square in downtown Boston. The festival is accessible via the city’s T, at the Park Street stop on the Red Line, the State Street stop on the Orange or Blue line and the Haymarket stop on the Orange or Green line. The 92 and 93 buses also stop outside of City Hall Plaza on Congress Street.
