NEWS: BOSTON CALLING ANNOUNCES A FESTIVAL APP, AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD TODAY + FINAL BLOCK PARTY OF THE SEASON AT DEWEY SQUARE PARK THIS THURSDAY

BOSTON CALLING ANNOUNCES A FESTIVAL APP, AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD TODAY, WITH THE COMPLETE PERFORMANCE TIMES FOR SEPTEMBER 2015

BOSTON CALLING WILL ALSO HOST ITS FINAL BLOCK PARTY OF THE SEASON AT DEWEY SQUARE PARK THIS
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2015

Before the press release I just wanted to reiterate how excited I am about this month’s festival.  I’ve been itching to see Of Mice and Men, CHVRCHES, Misterwives, Chromeo and Twin Shadow for quite some time now and am super psyched.  I’m also looking forward to making new friends, which I have done at both festivals I’ve attended in the past.  I know I’m  always saying how friendly the people are there, but it’s the truth.  I’m in the press section and always take a seat (note: there are only seats in the media and VIP sections) because I have a very bad back, fibromyalgia and some other issues and I have no trouble finding someone to keep my seat for me when I have to get something to eat or leave it for any other reason.  At other concerts in the past people have said they’d keep my seat and then they didn’t, but you can always count on people to keep their promises at Boston Calling.  OK, maybe I’m getting carried away here, but my point is that you really should attend the festival even if you only like a few of the artists already because others are sure to win you over and you’re going to love the atmosphere and seeing so many new artists as well.  Half of the festival isn’t even the music performances directly; it’s the people coming together in celebration of music in general.  When I’m at Boston Calling I always feel like I’m making a proud declaration: I LOVE MUSIC.  I encourage you to come and join the massive party, too! -Michael
