“Hook, Line & Sinker” is the ass-kicking second song to be released from Royal Blood’s forthcoming album How Did We Get So Dark?, which will be released on June 16th via Warner Bros. Records. If the rest of the album rocks as hard as this one we’re about to get blown away. Just as we were by their debut album. Clearly, it’s not going to be a sophomore slump record. It might even prove to be better than their first album. We’ll see. In the meantime, we’ll be cranking this and the first single from the album, “Lights Out,” three times a day (or more) and enjoying the pulverizing drums, chugging bass and killer guitar hooks. This one is downright turbulent so blast off now!
