This “Afropeans Revisit” version of Eric Benét’s “Running” is a truly gorgeous electropop masterpiece that combines the minimalist style of James Blake with complex garage/drum ‘n’ bass, shifting between the two styles in a way that feels entirely natural. Meanwhile, Benét has never sounded better, his turn here being quite passionate, brimming with potent emotion.
