This one has a really uplifting chorus, but the verses are a trainwreck. She sings a few lyrics then she starts going “blah, blah” and making some incomprehensible gibberish. If it wasn’t for that hideous bridge we might actually like this song, but… Any song that has to resort to “blah, blah,” etc, just strikes us as lazy songwriting. How long would it have really taken her to write better lyrics than that? Did she co-write this one with a second grader?
