If you’re like me, you fell in love with Bjork’s new album but still found yourself wishing the songs were more traditionally structured. That they had choruses. Well, perhaps the next best thing is electropop diva Oh Land’s new album Earth Sick, which features today’s #songoftheday, “Flags.” It’s a tasty slice of a special, chocolate electropop brownie, the sort that tastes delicious and makes you feel really good. “Tomorrow I’m coming, waving all the flags,” she sings playfully and you can’t help but smile, if only on the inside, while your brain gives you a serious dopamine rush. Simply put, it’s joyous. Ultra-joyous.
