Marshmello is one of today’s hottest dance producers and one of my personal favorites.  In one year he’s amassed 1.2 million Facebook followers and he’s been selling out 5,000 – 10,000 capacity venues already with his debut album, Joytime, getting over 50 million plays.  His new single, “Ritual” featuring Wrabel, is a slick, dance pop gem with a gorgeous melody and infectious chorus that I can’t get enough of.  If it’s any indication, his next album is going to be even better than Joytime, which is easily one of this year’s best dance records.  From its opening track, “Blocks,” to album closer “Want U 2,” the fantastic beats never fail to be colorful and enchanting.  If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly suggest you do so.  In the meantime, feast your ears on “Ritual” and get on board before he’s a household name.  Pay close attention to the video for cameos from Skrillex, Deadmau5, Valentino Khan, Slushii and Ghastly.
