Buckcherry’s new album Warpaint isn’t out until March 8th, but they’ve already blessed us with the first single, a kick-ass rendition of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like A Hole,” which happens to be my all-time favorite Nine Inch Nails song. Meanwhile, Buckcherry is one of my favorite hard rock bands of all-time. So, the fact that I love this probably doesn’t surprise anyone who even knows me in passing. Not one bit. I do wonder how Nine Inch Nails fans will like it, but it’s a faithful rendition and Buckcherry attack it with just as much raw energy as the original, so I think even Trent Reznor would approve. If not, well, that’s his prerogative but it won’t stop me from enjoying the hell out of it.
Yes, I love it when one of my favorite bands cover another favorite.
