This instrumental track by M83, “In The Cold I’m Standing,”  is from their critically acclaimed third album, Before The Dawn Heals Us, which will be reissued shortly.  Admittedly, this one plays more like film score or an interlude than an actual song, but it’s still downright glorious, its layers of synth radiating with cool, blue light.  It’s like the sonic equivalent of menthol when you have a sore throat, only it’s your soul that this beautiful piece touches.
