MICHAEL SAYS: That’s right — the brilliant Purity Ring has remixed Lady Gaga’s “Applause.” And, boy, is it a stunner. Easily the best remix of the song I’ve heard thus far and I dare say it’s better than the original. From the punchy beats to the throbbing, synthesized bass to the dubstep-inspired parts, this electro-pop take on the track is just awesome. Or, as we say here in Massachusetts, wicked awesome.
