As you’ve probably noticed, commenting is currently disabled on Love is Pop.  The reason for this is that we’ve come under fire by particularly vicious spam bots.  Instead of simply posting one comment, which would get filtered out as spam anyway, these bots keep posting comment after comment, bombing our site.  We don’t know why this is happening, as a bot is supposed to move onto a different IP address once it’s posted on a site, but we’re hoping to figure it out soon.  I would like to think that nobody is doing this deliberately, but since the comments were so fast and frequent that they were literally shutting down the site, crashing the server, I suppose it could be a targeted attack by our competition.  If that’s the case, I suppose we should be flattered that someone finds us so threatening that they’d try to get rid of us?
