Sophie Ellis-Bextor is presently in the studio at work on a new album. It will be her first since 2011’s Make A Scene. She recently did a Q&A with her official website saying, “I want the album to be fairly short, like 8-10 tracks. But I’m having so much fun working on it. I’ve probably written about 12, and I think I’ve probably got 5 or 6 real contenders for the album so far.” Plans are for the album to be released in September.
