Monday 18th August sees the release of ‘Ultraviolence’ the second single and title track from Lana Del Rey’s most successful and critically acclaimed album to date. The album debuted at #1 in 18 countries, including the U.K and the U.S, and in the Top 5 of 10 other countries, selling over 1million copies worldwide so far. ‘ULTRAVIOLENCE’ is her second U.K #1 following ‘BORN TO DIE’ in 2012.
Written by Lana and long-time collaborator Dan Heath ‘Ultraviolence’ was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and recorded in Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville.

Earlier this year saw Lana perform a string of sold out European and US tour dates including phenomenal performances at key festivals around the world such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Vida, Bravella and Bergenfest. Lana will continue to captivate audiences from the live stage with upcoming shows at Rock En Seine festival and headline shows across Ireland, France, Israel and the US.
‘Ultraviolence’ is being released on Polydor Records and will be available on digital download on Monday 18th August.
