I can’t remember the last time, if ever, that I’ve featured jazz on Love is Pop. It surprises me more than it probably surprises you. I do like a little jazz music with my Sunday morning coffee now and then. Well, to be sure, I listen to jazz on other days, too, but there’s something about Sunday mornings that are perfect for it, especially smooth and gentle jazz like we have here in the form of Peter Eldridge and Becca Stevens’ “Wish You With Me.” It’s lovely little ballad that I’ve had stuck in my head for the last several hours since I first listened to it. So, naturally, I had to get it stuck in your heads, too. Enjoy!
Peter Eldridge’s new album, Disappearing Day, will be out on July 21st. It is his fifth.
