#songoftheday / VIDEO: LEPROUS – “Slave” (Lyric Video)

If you like prog metal you’re in for a veritable treat here with Leprous’ blistering new song and video, “Slave,” which will be on their forthcoming album to be released later this year.  I’m not a huge fan of prog myself, but this one really grabbed me.  It just feels like an adventurous and epic metal song, not a bunch of random time changes and abstract parts that don’t seem to fit in well, etc., which is what I hate about most prog.  If MUSE were a metal band, this is what they’d sound like, no doubt.  I look forward to hearing the whole album.  If this song is any indication, it’s going to be mind-blowing.
