I love Lily & Madeleine! Talk about a super talented duo. I think they’re my third favorite duo after Paola & Chiara and First Aid Kit. “Blue bird’s body lies / And no one’s mourning,” they sing, their voices full of melancholy, the song itself quite haunting from its somber piano to its intoxicating atmospherics, which include ocean-like sounds and electro-flourishes.
