#songoftheday DANIELLE BRADBERY: “I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU”

17 year old Country singer Danielle Bradberry won season four of The Voice with her gorgeous renditions of such songs as Taylor Swift’s “Mean,” Carrie Underwood’s “Wasted” and The Judds’ “Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Ol’ Days).”

“I Will Never Forget You” is from Danielle’s self-titled debut and it’s one of the most touching ballads we’ve heard in a long, long while.  Written by Katrina Elam, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins, it’s as moving as anything on Taylor Swift’s Red and we adore Taylor Swift, so that is a huge compliment.  From its gorgeous piano to its soaring strings to Danielle’s precious voice, everything about it is just perfect.   And it’s one of those magnificent, epic ballads that starts off fairly subtle but gradually builds and builds until it reaches its emotional highpoint, which is, of course, when Danielle hits her biggest note, proving that she’s not only capable of moving you emotionally but in possession of some serious vocal range.  If you like country ballads, prepare to fall in love.
